Visual identity and promotion for Porty Pride, an annual community-led pride march that takes place in Portobello.
Porty Pride put out a call on their Instagram page to invite designers to submit their interest to design the visual identity, poster and programme for this year’s pride. I was delighted to be chosen from the pool of applicants.
The design I created represents the amazing queer community in Portobello through a zine-inspired look and feel, reminding us that Pride is a protest, and celebrating moments of community, solidarity and queer joy.
“Porty Pride put out a call for the 2025 Pride design project and after a competitive process Clau was the successful designer and awarded the project. Working with Clau was easy; their efficiency, clarity and ability to turn work around was impressive and made the whole process straightforward. We have received a great many positive comments on this year’s artwork and we feel the 2025 creative captured a true sense of our community Pride and ethos.”
