What it’s all about︎

Clau Studio is a graphic design and communications studio that helps those who aim to make a difference, working together to question, interact with and improve the world around us.
The studio offers services developed from a decade of experience working both in-house and freelance for ethical businesses, nonprofits, academics, arts practitioners, social enterprises and individuals seeking to create social impact through their work. By branding, promoting, showcasing and documenting these groups’ work, Clau Studio is proud to play a part in supporting communities and the arts.
In a world that’s moving towards increased automation and the environmental impact that comes with it, Clau Studio’s services aim to place people at the centre through services that combine design, communications and marketing to identify gaps and solve problems visually in ways that prioritise accessibility and sustainability.
“As a queer, non-binary immigrant myself, I began the studio to help charities supporting these communities, and small immigrant and queer-owned businesses trying to make their mark in a crowded market. Since then, it has grown to offer solutions to clients across sectors who want to make a difference. When I’m not designing, I’m probably reading and writing about queer theory and intersectionality.”
