The universities and UK charities involved in the project wanted a new accessible website that would retain functionality long-term, to reflect the project branding and house their updated research. Porty Pride put out a call on their Instagram page to invite designers to submit their interest to design the visual identity, poster and programme for this year’s pride. I was delighted to be chosen from the pool of applicants. The design I created represents the amazing queer community in Portobello through a zine-inspired look and feel, reminding us that Pride is a protest, and celebrating moments of community, solidarity and queer joy.&nbsp; “Porty Pride put out a call for the 2025 Pride design project and after a competitive process Clau was the successful designer and awarded the project. The design uses illustrations of women composers in the programme created by Sevillan illustrator M. Carmen Pichardo Fumadó, hand-written typefaces, rough paper textures and sheet music by Anna Bon Di Venezia, also featured in the programme.
